The Miami Heat staged a remarkable comeback to beat the Chicago Bulls 110-102 and secure a spot in the NBA playoffs on Saturday. The Bulls led by as many as 13 points in the fourth quarter, but the Heat rallied to force overtime and then outscored their opponents 16-8 in the extra period.
With the victory, the Heat clinched the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference and will face the third-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs. The Bulls, meanwhile, were eliminated from playoff contention.
Miami’s Bam Adebayo led all scorers with 22 points, while Duncan Robinson and Goran Dragic added 20 points each. Nikola Vucevic paced the Bulls with 26 points and 14 rebounds.
The Heat and the Bucks will meet in the postseason for the second consecutive year. Last season, Miami swept Milwaukee in the second round en route to the NBA Finals.
